Noah Madrigal is a current master's student at New Mexico State University. In May 2024, he intends to graduate with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering. His graduate research topic at NMSU centers on investigating the feasibility of using a novel, bio-inspired chemical ground improvement technique known as Enzyme-Induced Carbonate Precipitation (or EICP) as a stormwater erosion control practice for sloping sandy soils. His research is being competed under the guidance of Dr. Paola Bandini, NMSU Professor and Infrastructure Construction Thrust Lead for the Center for Bio-mediated and Bio-inspired Geotechnics (CBBG). He earned bachelor's degrees in both economics and geological engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2020. He is currently employed as a Geotechnical Engineer - EIT at Stantec in St. Louis, Missouri.
