Jacob O. Burkey, P.E., has 12 years’ experience in water resources engineering with emphasis areas of stormwater management, erosion prevention and sediment control, post-construction water quality, and environmental monitoring. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University with a Master’s thesis on the topic of construction site runoff quality. He has been an IECA Southeast Chapter member since 2014, received the IECA “Four Under 40” Young Professional Award in 2021, and is the chairperson of the IECA Professional Development Committee. He is currently located in Jacksonville, FL and works with Woolpert, Inc. as an engineer and project manager.
