Zach Smoot, PE (he/him/his)

Zach Smoot is a Professional Engineer in the Water Resources group located in Woolpert’s Greenville, SC office. Zach graduated from Clemson University in 2011 with a BS/MS in Biosystems Engineering and has been part of the Woolpert team ever since. In that time, Zach has played key roles in multiple projects across a wide range of NPDES-related activities where he has facilitated the collection of direct flow measurement and evaluation of real-time quantification surface discharges, managed remote sensing networks and their data, evaluated nutrient loading, and the performed modeling, design, and evaluation of various BMPs across much of the Southeastern US, where his creativity and affinity for inclusion of the broader picture has aided in the success of many of these endeavors.
