Mr. Daniel Schertz is a Section Manager within the Environmental Services Global Practices at Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. Mr. Schertz specializes in NPDES permitting with a focus on Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESC Plan) development, construction compliance monitoring, and environmental project management for a variety of projects nationwide. He is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), a Certified Stormwater Management Operator in the State of Michigan and has over 20 years of professional experience across the construction, environmental, and stormwater industries.

He has served as a permitting specialist, compliance inspector, and project manager on a variety of large-scale construction projects across the utilities, transportation, oil and gas, and renewables industries. Mr. Schertz serves his clients in overcoming environmental and permitting challenges to achieve project schedule and preserve budget while maintaining regulatory compliance.
